We spend a lot of time convincing ourselves we should feel things that we don’t, or that we don’t feel things we should. Please just remember to listen to your hearts, dear listeners.
I will use my depth of soft rock knowledge to help soothe your soul.
We spend a lot of time convincing ourselves we should feel things that we don’t, or that we don’t feel things we should. Please just remember to listen to your hearts, dear listeners.
I heard this on the radio this morning and I thought you, dear listeners, would enjoy. Happy Monday to you all.
r&d: do you know a song can help someone through an emotional journey they have to have to make alone?
It is important to remember that there are certain things you have to work through yourself. But, it is also important to remember that as long as you have people in your life who care about you, you are never truly alone.
I have had this song in my head, and I thought I would share it with you, dear listeners.
On a personal note, Music Box was the first album I ever purchased, so Ms. Carey holds a special place in my heart. As do all of you.
Happy Valentine’s Day, dear listeners. I only want to be with you.
We will always love you. Rest in peace.
dear r & d: do you think there’s a lid for every pot? if you do, is there a good soft rock jam to encourage people to take heart? thanks
I don’t know if I believe there is a single lid for every pot, but I do believe that there is someone that can make each of us happy. You can always make yourself happy, dear listener. I believe that love, of each other and ourselves, is our greatest power. And, if all else fails, a sparkly jacket usually helps.
dear r&d: i love a good tell-off song, where the artist really gives the person they’re singing to what for. are there any soft rock examples of this?
Sometimes, in order to move on, we have to let ourselves be angry with those that have hurt us. But, as always, it is important to eventually let go of negative feelings in order to make room for happier times. I hope this helps, dear listener.
Dear R&D, What about student teacher romances? Are there any songs that could advise if this is tenable? A good idea? A bad idea? Sincerely, HOT4TEACHER
Dearest H4T,
These kind of of relationships can certainly be tempting, on both sides. Many people find someone in power alluring, and many teachers have found their students attractive. While I know people that have begun these relationships and they have worked out, more often than not, the power differential leads to problems. Not to mention, the teacher may lose his or her job in the process. Just listen to how many problems this has caused Sting, dear listener, before making any decisions.
dear r&d: can you help me find a song to dedicate to the memory of dr. martin luther king jr.?
Stevie Wonder wrote this song in hopes that we would one day celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday. I hope that you, dear readers, have taken a moment today to think about how we can help move the world towards his vision.
